Tiertime launches upgraded UP BOX+ 3D printer

Beijing Tiertime Technology (Tiertime), has announced the launching of its newest 3D printer model, the UP BOX+.

The UP BOX+  is an upgrade to its previus model UP BOX which includes a connectivity enhancement, better filament support, and a new critical operational assurance infrastructure. Some features remain the same as its build volume of 255 x 205 x 205 mm, auto leveling system, and HEPA Filter. UP BOX+ integrates WiFi support and allows users to control their prints from any iOS-based Mac, iPhone, or iPad.

The fully enclosed UP BOX+ includes power loss and filament run-out mitigation. In the case of a power-loss, power-outage or connection problem, the 3D printer stops the print and once it is restored, asks the user to resume the print job from where it left off.

The filament run-out mitigation detects the lack of filament and pauses the print. The user can then resume the process after the filament has been reloaded.
